Strong Shoulders, Neck and Thorax focus in the frame of Hatha practice. The goal here is to cultivate both mobility and stability in the upper trunk, and shoulders to hold space for relaxation and ease. Of course, other systems in the lower chains - hips and legs are worked to support mobility of the spine - which in turn will assist the shoulders and neck.
